Actor Michael Douglas will undergo treatment for throat cancer. The 65-year-old Wall Street star will enter treatment for the tumor via radiation and chemotherapy.
According to reports from the Washington Post, Douglas’ treatment will last 8-weeks and upon completion of the cancer treatment program, the actor should expect full recovery. A “very optimistic” Douglas told People magazine he was looking forward to speedy treatments and an even faster bounce back to normal life.
Douglas won an Oscar for his role in Wall Street as Gordon Gekko. The sequel debuts this fall with the full title, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.
